These posters take crops of the letterforms from the title 'The Button Baby' and uses them as climbing frames. I used cut outs from scans of photographs from my childhood and placed them on the letterforms in different scales to depict a playground.
I used scanned cut outs of old photos of myself and my brother in the title sequence, creating scenes of us playing using scale and the letterforms of the typography in the motion piece. I used space, scale and texture to create hints of grief, anger and a broken relationship throughout the piece.
This is a double-sized poster showing the brother and sister, segregated to their own worlds however still connected through a microscopic overlap in the two circles, showing that there may be hope still in repairing their relationship.
